Terms & Conditions

The following booking conditions form the basis of your contract with Lanka Tong Travel (Pvt) Ltd. The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Lanka Tong (Pvt) Ltd, the term "you" refers to the customer visiting our website, booking a reservation through us or otherwise using our services. Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. By asking us to confirm your booking, we are entitled to assume that you have had the opportunity to read and have read these booking conditions and agree to them.

RESERVATIONS

All services should be booked through our office in Sri Lanka. Our contact details can be found in the “Contact Us” section of www.lankatongtravel.lk

CONFIRMATIONS

A booking is considered confirmed only after we receive a written confirmation via email and with a nonrefundable payment of 50% of the total ground handling charges which may be waived off solely at our discretion.

FINAL PAYMENT

The balance of payment due for Your Travel Arrangements if any must be paid by you not later than 30 days before arrival in Sri Lanka; otherwise we may treat the booking as cancelled by you.

PAYMENT METHOD

Payments can be made by credit card, bank transfer or Western Union.

CANCELLATION

You may cancel your booking by notifying the Tour Consultant. Cancellation fees, if any, will be determined with reference to the date on which notice of cancellation is received by the Tour Consultant and are expressed as a percentage of the total price paid for the cancelled Tour.

  1. If Cancellation received 60 days or more before arrival in relevant booking: the 100% of the payments made to the Tour Consultant in respect of the cancelled tour will be refunded.
  2. If Cancellation received between 30-59 days before arrival in relevant booking: an amount equal to 95% of payments made to the Tour Consultant in respect of the cancelled Tour will be refunded.
  3. Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival in relevant booking: an amount equal to 90 the payments made to the Tour Consultant in respect of the cancelled Tour will be refunded.
  4. If Cancellation received 07 days or less before arrival in relevant bookings are non – refundable.
  5. Other cancellation refunds are determined on a case-by-case basis, whether provided directly or indirectly by us. We do not normally refund for early checkouts or no-shows.

REFUND

Refund could arrange after acceptance of Cancellation in written form and the payment could make for refund after two weeks of processing the cancellation. Once to make the refund for Booking cancellation terms will apply, bank chargers or commission amounts will not be refunded. Refund could make to client from the total amount verified to our account and while transfer its apply service chargers as well. Any individual who intends to cancel a booking with Lanka Tong Travel must immediately notify their respective Tour Consultant by email, quoting their Invoice number. In the event of a group cancellation (by the tour leader), we will hold each individual equally liable for cancellation costs.

INSUARANCE

Every traveler must have valid travel insurance and details of the policy which are clearly stated before traveling.

HEALTH CONDITION

Lanka Tong Travel strongly recommends every traveler who wish to travel to Sri Lanka to check their health condition before traveling. If a traveler suffers from any sickness, meet and get medical advices and necessary health documents before traveling. If a traveler suffer any sickness and an injury during the holiday in Sri Lanka with us, please inform our tour representatives immediately. They will provide suitable advices and guidance. This must be carried out in conjunction with your personal travel insurance policy.

RATES AND TAXES

Our prices are inclusive of service charge & government taxes and subject to change with any increase in government taxes.

ARBITRATION

When your booking is confirmed with us, a contract between Dune Towers Resort and / or you is constituted. That contract and these Booking Terms and Conditions shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Sri Lanka.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These terms and conditions are subject to the Laws and the Jurisdiction of Sri Lanka.
